I never always "got" HNW type albums. Live noise music is always awesome, but on record I kind of felt that a unrelenting monolithic atonal sound was a kind of creative dead end - where can you go from that template? But I'm slowly garnering an appreciation for the likes of The Rita, Daniel Menche, Shurayuki-hime, etc. Bee Spit has that same glacially evolving, carefully layered and textural approach to noise.
