Almost an exercise in futility, A Desire to Fill is an hour long composition, constructed from synthesized digital images and processed field recordings. Following loose consumerist and environmentalist themes, sounds collected from s27°31 e152°58 (suburban region of SEQ) are repeated and layered with synthesized photographs of waste from the same area, reflecting the composers desire to create using simply the materials and tools in their immediate environment.
